Kyrgyz State Medical Academy was established in the year 1939 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The full name of the university is I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy. There were only 200 students who got enrolled in the very first batch of the university. KSMA is recognized by MCI, WHO, FAIMER, and IMED. It is one of the oldest and renowned universities in the country. KSMA deals in various faculties of medicine like General Medicine, Pediatrics, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Medical & Preventive care.
