Kazakhstan has the official name as the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is a transcontinental country in Central Asia. The country is also famous for the Kazakh State Kurmangazy Orchestra of Folk Instruments. Also, the Kazakh State Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kazakh National Opera, and the Kazakh State Chamber Orchestra are well known.
The population of Kazakhstan is young. Even so the birth rate is lower that the death rate. The average life expectancy for men is 66 years. On the other hand, the average life expectancy for women is 76 years.
Kazakhstan has two natural and three cultural sites on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Kazakhstan has membership in international organizations. They include the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, United Nations
Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
